Tequila Ocho is made by Carlos Camarena, a third generation Tequilero, in partnership with Tomas Estes. Carlos and Tomas produce tequila that is made slowly in an artisanal way. The result is a fine quality spirit that accentuates the agave flavour. It is concentrated and complex while remaining balanced and easy to drink.
Ocho is the first tequila to designate both the year it was produced and the precise field from which the family grown agaves were sourced. Each batch comes from a different field or rancho contributing distinctive characteristics of that place.
Top notch vermouth & aperitivos that have been produced for over 120 years and used by bartenders the world over to create the classic Negroni cocktail. It is a blend of red wine from Piedmont plus many herbs and spices such as Artemisia, china calissaia, arancio amaro, rabarbaro and rhubarb amongst others which leads to a rich, velvety flavour. Expect lots of cocoa, bitter orange, balsamic, rosemary, sandal wood, nutmeg and myrrh. A complex and characterful vermouth of superior quality.
Lost Distillery Company
Long-closed distilleries brought to life by a marriage of fine aged single malts, celebrating the golden era of Scotch Whisky.
At The Lost Distillery Company we believe it is a tragedy that over one hundred Scotch Whisky distilleries have been permanently closed during the last century.
Despite being renowned for their excellent quality malts, these distilleries were largely closed through the effects of war, prohibition, politics and the rise of mass production.
The journey begins at our single farm, where 100% of our barley is grown. It is then traditionally floor malted, hand-mashed and fermented slowly for seven days in our wooden washbacks that were hand-made at our own cooperage. We use direct fire to heat our small copper pot stills, and mature our spirit in hand-selected casks. Finally, our whisky is expertly blended and bottled onsite at our distillery.
Bimber’s first casks were laid down on the 26th May 2016 and we released our inaugural single malt whisky (The First) three years later in September of 2019 – the limited release of 1,000 hand numbered bottles sold out in 3 hours. In 2020, Bimber will be releasing a wide range of new single malt whiskies – all with our trademark accessible, fruit forward character – all handcrafted with passion.
For centuries, travellers, traders and explorers have been drawn to the Indonesian islands, indulging in riches, spices, beaches and vices.
But todays world has long forgotten the history of Indonesian rum. Forgotten Indonesian rum is a godfather to the rum world. Forgotten it was sugar cane from the east that cultivated plantations in the west.
Forgotten Indonesian rum was once the luxury choice of drinkers in the finest punch houses and bordellos across the globe.
It’s time rum’s forgotten story is remembered!
It was in the heart of the 16th century family home Maison Villevert where G'Vine was first dreamed up and is now produced. Unconventional by its very nature, it is a gin made of grapes instead of more common lower quality grains. It is from the imagination of master distiller Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, that this gin was brought to life by the untapped potential he saw in the grapes of his home in the Cognac region.
The bold choice to use vine blossoms in G’Vine is an innovative step in French luxury. Each grape flower contributes to the heady aromas we have come to know and love as the great flavors synonymous with the best wines of the region. By playing with conventions and bucking the norms, Jean-Sébastien Robicquet offers gin lovers an unparalleled experience. In a world where every gin is competing to stand out, it is this luxurious botanical that the Maison Villevert values so preciously and gratifyingly maintains as its signature taste and aroma
Think human, drink FAIR
First we spend a great deal of time sourcing the finest Fairtrade ingredients for our spirits:
Organic quinoa from the 3000 m high Altiplano plateau, organic sugar cane grown in the Belizean sun, organic arabica from Mexico, organic juniper berries from Uzbekistan, etc…
Then we carefully ship everything to the famous region of Cognac in France, where the very best master distillers and brewers take over the production process. The heirs of a long line of distillers, they keep French expertise alive while further developing their techniques with a view to excellence.
Mezcal Siete Misterios
Our company was born in Mexico in 2010 with only one thing in mind: to rescue the mezcal making traditions, as well as to promote local commerce and stimulate the culture of small mezcal producers, all of this with a contemporary approach.
Thus we were able to relive the past and match it with the present time, combining the best of both worlds. We remain respectful of one of the most pure essences: the mezcal, a genuine Mexican heritage. After achieving the latter, we reached a new identity, a symbiosis of what already is familiar and what is still yet to be discovered.
The legends and mysteries of Mexico, our land, were our source of inspiration to start a quest, looking for a beverage that is fully representative of the Mexican customs, culture and of course the passion that goes along every Mexican product.
Mezcal Los Siete Misterios is the result of this quest.
